Congratulation to Kieran Histon who was a member of the 2012 Cork VEC All Ireland Winning Football team which took place on Saturday the 25th of February. Cork VEC saw off a talented Kildare VEC side in a thrilling encounter in Templetouhy, Tipperary at the weekend. The Cork side trailed at half time but played some excellent football in the second half to establish a four point lead with a quarter of an hour to play. The leesiders then showed great determination to hold off a late push from the Kildare men to edge out a one point victory on a scoreline of 0-13 to 0-12. The club would like to congratulate Kieran on this great success and may this be the first of many honors he comes across throughout his career.
