Billy Burns is a member of three different choirs and who has sung all his life recorded a collection of old time favourite songs at The Vocal Chord Recording Studio at the beginning of December. He was accompanied on guitar by his son in law Denis Conneely.
Billy, whose passion is singing, had never recorded before but was so pleased with the outcome that he decided to put his experience to a good use. He sold copies of his CD to raise money for the St. Vincent De Paul as he knows how much organisations like this are struggling at the moment to cope with the demands. Billy, who lives in Cobh sought and got support from other choir members and local businesses and raised €500.
It transpires that there are other members of the Burns Family who are also talented singers and songwriters, so could we see a family album in the future?
