On Friday, 14th November 2014 at 8.00 pm., well known Classical Guitarist Colin McLean makes a welcome return to Fota House.
Join the Colin McLean Latin Trio for a wonderful evening of Classical Guitar music. With Colin, Barry John Maher and Dave Whitla make up the Latin Trio. They play music from Rodrigo y Gabriela, Oscar Lopez and Luis Villegas. This programme reflects the versatility and fun of the guitar.
Colin McLean is a solo classical guitarist and has performed on many different stages in the past years including the National Concert Hall, UL Concert Hall, the Helix, the Gaiety, the Cork Opera House and at Fota House 2010 and 2011 and 2013.
The Colin McLean Latin Trio is Ireland’s leading acoustic Latin Group. They draw from South American and Spanish influences such as Oscar Lopez, Luis Villegas and of course Rodrigo y Gabriela! The Latin Trio combines the talents of Ireland’s and Canada’s finest.
