Congratulations to Jason Abbott on his Ma’n of The Match’ display against Poland last Thursday night in Turners Cross. Jason was only one of four players that played the full ninety minutes. He had a splendid game in the middle of the park with his sublime passing and tough tackling. This game was part of Ireland amateur soccer team preparations for this years UEFA cup tournament which starts in June and is being held in Dublin.

Having recently won the prestigious Collingwood cup with his club UCC, they are still on course to recapture the league for a second successive year. Winning this Irish amateur cap completes a marvelous collection having represented Ireland at under 15,16,17 and 18 level. Well done Jason.
