Cope Foundation will host a recruitment day in Cork next month where members of the team will be available to discuss career opportunities within the organisation.

The Cork-based charity is looking to recruit care assistants and nursing staff in a number of locations across Cork city and county.  The organisation offers flexible working hours and commuting time.

Cope Foundation hosted four Open Days in Cork last year which were attended by approximately 226 people.

Eamon Nash, Chief Operations Officer of Cope Foundation said; “We are looking for dynamic and motivated people to join our ever-growing team of care assistants, social care workers and staff nurses. Cope Foundation offers rewarding and progressive career opportunities across a network of 70+ locations in Cork. If you have been thinking about starting your career in the disability sector, our recruitment open day is for you. It’s a great opportunity to speak one on one with our team.”

Pam said; “I have mainly worked in residential locations. Part of my role is planning activities in the centre as well as in the community. An aspect of my job that is really important to me is promoting advocacy for people we support. My main aim is to ensure people achieve their goals, highlight their choices and make sure their voices are heard.”

The Recruitment Day will take place in the Metropole Hotel on Wednesday 11th October from 2PM to 7PM.  Cope Foundation will also attend UCC’s Graduate Recruitment Fair on Wednesday 4th October from 9AM to 12.30PM.
