Due to popular demand a second class will be run at 3.00pm in the Bella Vista Hotel, Spy Hill on March 24th.Eric Donovan from Rapid Response CPR Training Specialists will be running CPR Heartsaver classes in the Bella Vista Hotel on March 24th, 2012. As part of their CPR Awareness Drive throughout Munster to promote the importance of how local people in rural and county areas can save lives by doing good quality CPR while waiting for medical attention to arrive. “Proper CPR training can be a life-saving element that will aid an individual who´s heart has stopped beating, until qualified emergency medical personnel arrive”, says Eric.
Each year in Ireland there is roughly 6,000 cardiac arrests. That´s on average 16 people a day!. Approximately 70% of these happen in the home, at work or during a leisure pursuit, in the presence of family, friends, colleagues and strangers. *Victims of cardiac arrest in an out of a hospital environment currently have just a 1% chance of survival. (*Irish Heart Foundation). With your help, Rapid Response CPR Training are hoping to increase that survival rate.
