David Stanton, Fine Gael TD for Cork East has welcomed the allocation of €75,000 for Cobh Library.
”My colleague, the Minister for Environment, Phil Hogan TD, has decided to allocate a further €75,000 to improve facilities at Cobh Library. This funding comes in addition to previous allocations totalling almost €200,000 allocated in December 2011 and December 2012*. This brings the total allocation the library has received in the past two years to €274,795.68 , said Deputy Stanton.
”I understand that this €75,000 will be used to fit-out the interior of Cobh Library as the previous allocations were used to fund exterior and structural repairs to the building and will greatly enhance the library facilities for staff and library users alike.”
