Just an update regarding the cinema clubs activities in relation to the new COVID guidelines announced last night, Tuesday 18th August.
We were looking forward to starting our season in the sports hall of the Community Centre next Mon 24th Aug.
Unfortunately, due to the latest direction from the Government and having consulted with the Comm Centre, it is with great regret that we have decided to postpone our Autumn season, as we are sure there will be a stop/go system in place in the coming months, which will only add confusion and disruption to any events planned. Our audience’s safety is our priority and we feel that it is in everyone’s interest to postpone our screenings until January and see how things are.
We sure you understand our situation, and just want to thank you for all your support and correspondence.
Hopefully we will see you all in the new year.
We hope that you and your loved ones stay safe.
