The closing date for entries for the *Cobh** – Great Island Tidy Districts Competition 2011* is Friday 1st July. Entry forms may still be obtained from Cobh Credit Union or Cobh Town Council offices or may be downloaded from www.cobhtidytowns.com
The winning of an award in the National Tidy Towns Competition in 2012 is still all to play for and entering our local competition can only help to raise the standards of all areas in the town and on the Great Island.
Cobh Tidy Towns committee is encouraging everyone to enter the competition in one or more of the six categories. Entering, either as a Residents’ Association or as an Individual Citizen means that you are playing your part in making Cobh – Great Island an even nicer place to live in, visit or do business in and bring us ever closer to our collective goal: Cobh – Ireland’s Tidiest Town! There is also the chance to share the significant Prize Fund.
Judging will take place between the 5th and 30th July and the Awards Ceremony will be held in mid September.
