Golf Societies Fundraiser Generates €3,500 For Casey Byrne-Rowe

It was decided that Golf Societies of Cobh/Great Island should aid in the community wide fundraising for little Casey Byrne-Rowe. The plan was devised to raffle green fees we all, as societies get free from Golf Clubs we visit. With an auction of other prizes on the night.

The fundraiser was held last Saturday Night and saw great work from Cormac Wyse, Sandra Farrell, Kieran Brady, Paul O Halloran (Ryan’s Bar) & Robbie Fitzpatrick (Commodore Hotel) come to fruition. Huge thanks to Commodore Hotel for sponsoring the printing of the raffle tickets. To Paul for the use of Ryan’s to hold the fundraiser. John Clifford, Paul Drake & Christy Stack who donated prizes for the auction. Cobh GAA GS for Douglas green fees. Lower Harbour GS for Dromoland green fees, Rushbrooke Tennis club for Cobh green fees,Ryan’s Bar GS for Killeens green fees, Fort Mitchell GS for Muskerry green fees, Donagh Russell for Cork green fees,  Cork Prison Officers GS for Ballykisteen green fees, Village Inn GS for Youghal green fees, Naval Service GS for Cahir Park green fees, Ramblers GS for Water Rock gren fees.
