The annual Great Island 4Peaks Challenge fundraising campaign will commence on Saturday the 09th March 2019. This year all monies raised will again go toward the Mercy University Hospital and the unit recipients will be the unique Paediatric Oncology Outreach Nursing Service (POONS).
Our first fundraising event will be held at Garveys Supervalu, Cobh where they will be hosting a 12 hour spinathon from 8am to 8pm. The event involves the 4Peaks team, staff members from Garveys and volunteers from local sporting organisations who will all spend time on their bikes. Expert nutritional talks will coincide with the event and be given at the following times – 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.
To keep our participants and supporters energised there will be light refreshments provided and DJ Dwayne Breene will be entertaining on the decks.
Please come along and support this very worthy cause, you never know who might be taking part !!!
A big thank you to Garveys for hosting this fundraiser. The Great Island 4Peaks team would like to thank all of their sponsors over the last three years in helping their efforts and reaching a huge €17,645 raised to date which has all been donated to various oncology units of the Mercy University Hospital.
Hope to see you all there on the day.
Ger and the Great Island 4Peaks team.
