Calling all photographers and wildlife enthusiasts. We want you to show us wildlife through your lens. Whether you are a budding amateur or just like to take pictures on your smartphone we would like to share any photos you have taken of the wildlife on Great Island.
Living on an island we are fortunate to have marine life as well as marsh inhabitants, visiting and native birds, wild animals, wild flowers, insects, fungi and forest creatures. We have an abundance of flora and fauna which contribute to the wonderful biodiversity surrounding us. We also want to discover and encourage the next generation of aspiring nature photographers and wildlife ambassadors.
Help Cobh Tidy Towns to celebrate the biodiversity on our doorstep and share any photographs you have taken for our “Wildlife of Great Island Photograph Exhibition”. The exhibition will be held in Cobh Library from May 10th.
