FÁS Community Employment Scheme Job Opportunity in Cobh

Person wanted (must be eligible for Community Employment Scheme/19.5 hours a week) to work on a children’s programme, working with children from 6 to 12 years and their families.  The position will involve assisting in the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of weekly activities for children as well as family activities/events and office/admin work. The candidate must be able to work well as part of a team as well as being able to work well on their own initiative and be prepared to work some out of hours events at weekends or in evening.  A childcare/youth work qualification or experience of working with children is preferable but is not essential.  Applicants MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT.
