With the sun shining and the crowds pouring in, Cobh Hospital’s Garden Fete was a great success on Sunday afternoon. Stalls included Books, jewellery, homemade jams and cakes, biscuits and Jellies. The hard work of the volunteers who look after the gardens was evident as visitors appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and shopped on the stalls and sat drinking tea and coffee in the glorious sunshine.
“The Hospital relies entirely on donations, collections and the generosity of the people of Cobh,” said Betty Lynch, former member of the Friends of Cobh Hospital. “Events like today are so important to the Hospital and we are grateful for all the support received over the years.” she continued.
