Letters To Cobh Edition – Tay Road Danger Continues
I was just about to contact you with regard to driving conditions on Tay Road when I came across your article ‘How To Damage Your Car – Drive The Tay Road’ dated 8th August.
I was driving very slowly and carefully as I happen to live on the Tay Road and am well aware of the dangers at present due to all the work being carried out, however regardless of how slow I was driving, my car skidded and I could have had a nasty accident, so you can imagine what it could be like for people who don’t know about the condition of the road. Thank you for highlighting this.
It’s disgraceful and somebody should account for leaving the road like this.
