Newly Formed Band Love Street will showcase their talent for the first time at Cyprus Ave, Cork on Thursday 16th June.
The four-piece band, fronted by Australian Singer Sarah Reeve formed in December 2010 and with a full set of freshly written songs the group is very excited to showcase their sound to the public.
Love Street’s self-recorded demos have been compared to “U2” and “The Kings of Leon” but with soft sensual female vocals. The band has just completed building their own custom designed recording studio from the ground up in Cobh Co. Cork. The studio will also be available for commercial hire.
Love Street which was named after the street in Sydney where Singer Sarah Reeve and Drummer Ronan McCormick met, they quickly decided that a move to Ireland would be a good career choice and bring the band closer to the European music scene. After holding auditions in Cork, Ireland the duo were joined by Guitarist Rory O’Brien and Bassist Barry O’Brien (no relation), who brought their own sound to the band.
The four members have all achieved success in separate musical ventures before the forming of Love Street, which include chart positions, large festival gigs, TV appearances and European & American tours.
