As a contribution towards the Cobh Tidy Towns effort John Paul Reilly’s new stone restoration service is currently cleaning the stone of the Lusitania Peace Memorial. This is making a fantastic difference to the monument. Only a nominal fee to cover the cost of the material used is being charged and this cost is being paid by Cobh Town Council.
The Tidy Towns committee would like to commend all of the businesses that are currently helping with the Tidy Towns work at nominal or greatly reduced rates.
