I would like to wish all those doing the junior and leaving certs in Cobh the best of luck. I know it is a time of stress not only for those sitting the exams but also for the families of those sitting the exams.
For the next two weeks put all you can into them no one can ask any more.
We are fortunate to have two excellent secondary schools in Cobh. The teachers employed I have no doubt have done every thing in their power to ensure that all students in Cobh are as prepared as they can be for tomorrow. Great credit is due to them for their work and personal interest they have shown to every student that will sit the exams.
From my own experience as I remember back to my time sitting the leaving cert once you get into your first exam all that stress and dread disappears after the first ten minutes of the first exam and before you know it the two weeks have past and the summer is ahead of you free of stress and a bit of R&R is on the way. Of course the day of the results will arrive but cross that bridge when it comes.
As I have said no one can ask anymore of than to do your best
