Port in Pictures Goes on Display in Cobh

The Port of Cork photograph exhibition entitled ‘The Port in Pictures’ is currently on display in Cobh Heritage Centre until Thursday 25th August 2011.
The exhibition which comprises of black and white photographs from the 1930’s to modern day photographs, gives people the chance to see the Cork Harbour Commissioners and now the Port of Cork Company over the years and the many different trades and vessels coming in and out of Cork harbour.
For anyone with a link to the Port of Cork or even the Cork Harbour Commissioners’, this exhibition will be a trip down memory lane and may even remind you of a tale or two!
‘The Port in Pictures’, Cobh Heritage Centre Monday 8th August to Thursday 25th August 2011.
The Exhibition will also be in display in:
Custom House, Cork City – Friday 26th August to Wednesday 7th September
Camden Fort, Crosshaven – Saturday 10th – 25th September
