Possible Traffic Disruption – Sonia O’Sullivan Race, Cobh, Mon 25th Aug

Ballymore Cobh Athletic Club wishes to advise residents and vehicle owners of possible traffic delays in and around the race route being used this Monday (Aug 25th) from approximately 6.30pm-9.00pm.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sonia O’Sullivan’s gold medal at the European Championships, we will stage four separate road races, starting at Lynches Quay and running along the town towards the end of the Lower Road and returning to finish beyond The Promenade.
With the assistance of An Gardai Siochana and stewards, we aim to limit the amount of disruption caused and look forward to the publics co-operation in ensuring this is a safe and enjoyable event.
We welcome the people of Cobh and beyond to join us in paying tribute to one of Irelands greatest ever sports people.
