Due to rising costs, the 2016 Regatta will be held on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th only. As people are aware the costs associated with running such a huge event are enormous and we as a Committee have a decision to reduce it to just the two days in order to make it viable.
All events will be held in the Promenade and the bandstand will serve as our stage.
As usual it will be an action-packed weekend with lots of surprises this year, including the return of the Cobh People’s Regatta Queens!
We ask that everyone support our upcoming ‘Flag Days’ and as usual, our Ducks will be on sale again in the coming weeks.
Also, Club C at the Commodore Hotel will be happening on the Friday night and the 2016 Regatta Queen interviews will be taking place in the Jack Doyle Room that same evening. We are also please to announce the Commodore Hotel are once again the main sponsors of the Regatta and we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Patrick O’Shea fir his continued support.
