Last night Saturday 5th March the Finals of the in-house Tribes tournament took place, this event again kindly sponsored by Frank and Mary Kelleher had 96 players playing each week over the last five weeks. Congratulations to the Sioux tribe on their victory in the Main Tribes Cup final.
When all the scores were added after an epic battle it came down to the narrowest of margins with victory by 55-53 to the Sioux. Well done to Chief Eadaoin O Riordan and the rest of the Tribe. Congratulations also to Chief Claire Connolly and the Cheyenne on their great victory in the Plate final. Thanks to all players who took part over the last five weeks and people who subbed throughout the tournament which again produced some great tennis.
