Our annual book fair was held from the 16th – 19th May and was a great success once again. Organised by Mrs. O Connell, it gave a chance to parents and pupils to buy books for the appropriate age groups. Our theme this year was ‘Europe’ and classes did some fantastic project work and displays based on various different European countries. An overall thank you to the teaching and SNA staff for all their cooperation. A special thanks to Mrs. Lucey & Mr. O’Driscoll for their support and shopping! Thanks also to the following parents who gave their time to help out during the week – Margaret Barrett, Gillian McCrossan-Donnachie, Claire Morey, Karen Doyle, Antoinette Gilmartin, Eileen Ahern, Olive O’Donovan, Siobhan McCarthy, Helen Hayes, Marie O’Flynn, Rehana Khan-Moss, Eileen O’Regan, Paula Courtney & Joan Devlin-Buckley – your help is always appreciated.
A number of competitions were held during the week and these were the winners:
€50 Voucher – Cian Lynch. Guess the correct number of stamps (313) – Jack McCarthy(312 ½), Christopher Nobbyn(321), Cian Tobin(321) & Darragh Burke(303). Worksheet Competition – Casey Ford, Lee Morey, Ben Barrett, Jamie Gilmartin &Trevor Sawyer.
