Gary Comerford 15 Premier
Ringmahon Rangers 1 Springfield Ramblers 2
Springfield Ramblers U15s defeated a very good Ringmahon side by a score line of two goals to one. Springfield Ramblers started with a very attacking side, centre forward Barry Chandler and Cian Darcy were causing the home defence all sorts of trouble. Calvin Murphy and Charlie Fleming dominated the centre of the park, Ciaran Ahern put in a good hard shift on the right side and Adam Horgan scored two great goals just before half time.
In the second half Ringmahon scored with a very controversial penalty, but some great defending by Adam O’Sullivan, Niall Abbott, Conor Hughes, and Sean Hilliard kept a very good Ringmahon side at bay. Dave Coffey in the Cobh goal put in another great performance.
Umbro 12 Division 4
Springfield Ramblers B v Killinardrish Coachford
Springfield Ramblers U12B went down to a very good Coachford side. It was the first game that Springfield Ramblers U12B team played together and did themselves very proud with a very good performance considering Coachford won this division last year.

Umbro 12 Premier
Lakewood Athletic 0 Springfield Ramblers 3
Springfield Ramblers U12s got their first points on the board with a great away win to Lakewood. This was a great team performance with the lads having to be patient with all the goals being scored in the second half. The goals were scored by Eoin Kelly (2) and Ciaran Griffin.
Umbro 12 Division 1
Springfield Ramblers A 1 Corinthian Boys A 2
Springfield Ramblers young side were unlucky in defeat versus a strong Corinthian side. They put in a valiant effort and played well under the circumstances. A persistent strong wind teamed with some questionable decisions from the referee put them at an immediate loss. Despite this they powered through and some great play was displayed. After conceding a two goal deficit they pushed forward on the attack and they came close to scoring on numerous occasions until the pressure finally paid off with a great finish from the striker Emeka who dominated the first half. The second half proved more quiet but they were strong in defence particularly the two young centre backs Edward O’Mathuna and Tobi Oshjk who played with toughness, putting in strong tackles that Roy Keane would be proud off. Overall, this was a good effort from a team who were strong in all areas of the pitch.
Umbro 14 Division 1
Springfield Ramblers v Blarney United
Umbro 16 Premier
Lakewood Athletic v Springfield Ramblers
Umbro 14 Division 5
Avondale United A 1 Cobh Ramblers 0
Cobh were very unlucky not too get anything out of this game. They controlled the game from start to finish and if they play like they did today they should be pushing for promotion come the end of the season.
U17 Premier League
Everton 0 Springfield Ramblers 5
This was a great away win for Springfield Ramblers. The goals were scored by John Kennedy (2), Danny Barry (2), and James Marshall. Man of the Match was Shane Marshall.
