Springfield Ramblers would like to thank all to took part in shave or dye event on Saturday 15th. It was a great success with more than 50 people taking part and to date we have raised €3,500 with a few more cards still to collect. Special thanks to the hairdressers Mary Maher, Shirley Murphy, Jacinta Fogarty, Mairead Hastings and Sinead Hackett for giving up their free time, Cobh Community College for use of the school, the art teacher for the fantastic banner and all the parents who helped out on the day collecting money, making beverages and washing hair. We will let people know final amount ASAP. Hopefully it will be a bigger event next year!
Dave Coffey started for the Under 16 Ireland International squad last week and impressed despite their 4-1 loss to the Netherlands. The club are very proud of Dave who has always been a shining star in both his club and Cork squads as well as being a fantastic team player. We know he will continue to go from strength to strength. Well done Dave!
