Following on from our previous highly successful Exhibitions, Cork Harbour Islands Project (C.H.I.P.) would like to announce the Official Opening on Saturday 13th October, 2018 at 2pm of our 2018 Exhibition St Colman’s Cathedral – Infinity made Imaginable’‘ in Cobh Maritime Exhibition Building at Cobh Railway Station (many thanks to Cobh Maritime Development Company for the use of the Centre) and to cordially invite you to attend the Ceremony.
The Exhibition will focus on the all aspects of the Cathedral from its beginning, to those that worked on it and also the huge social aspect it has played in the history of our town over the last hundred years and more. In this regard we would still be delighted to receive any of your photos of these social events such as Weddings, Christenings Confirmations, Communions and any other photos/info you may have on the Cathedral. Also if you had any relatives who worked on the Cathedral we would love to hear about them.
The Exhibition, which is Free will run for approximately 6 weeks and will be open every day from 11-4pm.
