TG4 selects four games to kick off live coverage of 2024 SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division season

For the fourth successive year, TG4 will provide live coverage of the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division with four games selected to kick off the 2024 season.
In 2023, TG4 provided top-class coverage of the League with the final fixture seeing Peamount United lift the League trophy following their victory over Sligo Rovers at PRL Park – a thrilling end to a superb season.
For 2024, they will broadcast 12 games with League champions Peamount part of their first live fixture when they travel to Athlone Town Stadium on Saturday, April 13 to take on the Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup holders Athlone Town.
Next up will be a visit to Turner’s Cross for the Munster Derby between Cork City and Treaty United on Saturday, May 4, which will be followed by Shamrock Rovers versus Galway United in Tallaght Stadium on Saturday, May 25.
The fourth live game will see DLR Waves entertain Bohemians at the UCD Bowl on Saturday, June 29 in what accounts for the first selection of fixtures for live broadcast by TG4 in 2024.
As a result of these selections, there are changes to the kick-off times originally scheduled for Athlone Town v Peamount United, Cork City v Treaty United and Shamrock Rovers v Galway United.
