Tidy Districts Competition closing date approaching

The closing date of 2nd July for entires in the Cobh – Great Island Tidy Districts Competition is fast approaching. A large number of entries have already been received and each resident of the Great Island is encouraged to get involved and play their part in the efforts to win the National Tidy Towns competition in 2012. Individual citizens can enter the Best Garden or Blooming Marvellous competition and Residents’ Associations can enter the Best District competition. The Tidy Towns committee is very pleased with the efforts that people have gone to to paint their buildings and put up colourful displays of flowers and our Colour the Hill project on Ticknock hill is already blooming marvellous!
