Tidy Towns Notes

Published

on

This Saturday thirteen people came to help with the Cobh Tidy Towns efforts to make Cobh a nicer place to live in, work in and visit.

The footpath along Westbourne place was cleared of debris following the recent bad weather and the Cordyline trees were cleared of much of last years dead flower clusters.

Park Road, Aherne’s Place, Edmund Rice Cresent and near Cobh Hospital were also swept and the fence adjoining the site of the now demolished sheds at the Cross River Ferry was cleared of the dead growth.

The Tidy Towns volunteers meet every Monday at 12 noon at the Crow’s Nest and every Saturday at 10 am at the playground at the Five Foot Way near Whitepoint.
