Walterstown N.S Spring Clean up.
National Spring Clean 2013 at Ballybrassil Beach. Pupils from Walterstown School played their part in the recent National Spring Clean Up. On Friday 19th April, pupils from 3rd to 6th classes walked to Ballybrassil Beach and collected over 14 bags of rubbish there. It was a beautiful day and Ballybrassil Beach, which is the school’s ‘adopted’ beach, was looking all the better for the clean up. Our school encourages everyone to be anti-litter and help keep the local environment cleaner and a more enjoyable place to live in.
The school’s first green flag was for the work done on litter and waste, and here in Walterstown we are committed to continuing our work in that area.
