Kellys Bar, Cobh
Kelly’s Bar is located in the heart of the vibrant town of Cobh, looking out onto Cork Harbour. Run by Tom Kelly and his team of friendly and professional staff, it is a popular bar with a relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcome for locals and visitors alike.
Catering for a wide variety of tastes, Kelly’s has something to offer for everyone. It is a great place for anything from a quiet afternoon drink, to a lively buzz on weekend nights. Free wi-fi is available if you want to go online while having a couple of pints, or a morning coffee and scone.
For sports fans, there are several large screens in the bar, showing all kinds of sporting events – soccer, GAA, tennis, racing, golf…and especially rugby. A big crowd and a great atmosphere are guaranteed for Ireland and Munster matches, with finger-food provided at half time.
bar9 There is live music on a regular basis all year round, ranging from traditional Irish music to blues, and most things in between. Click here to see what’s coming up soon. Sometimes more impromptu music and sing-songs spring up too…
From April to October, many Cruise Liners visit Cobh and Kelly’s Bar is ideally located to see them. In 2008 and 2009 and 2010 “The Independence of the Seas”, the largest cruise liner in the world, was in Cobh. Click here for pictures. Another well-known visitor was the QE2 departing on her final voyage.
GROUP BOOKINGS are welcome at Kelly’s for all kinds of parties and occasions. Food will be catered for by arrangement. Please Contact Us for bookings or more information.
Most Important Of All, though, there is always good drink, a good atmosphere, and a bit of craic. And THAT IS! what you really want from a bar, isn’t it?
