Well known Cork performer and Lyrical Baritone, Darragh McGann will perform a special concert in aid of Cork Cancer Research on Thursday June 9th in the Commodore Hotel, Cobh at 8pm.
Darragh, who is also known as “The Singing Taxi Driver” and is taking part in the 96FM Fat Factor with Neil Prendiville, lost his own Dad, Padraig to Cancer. And so to mark the release of his new album “Inside Out”, Darragh has put together a show which he hopes will raise plenty of cash for Cork Cancer Research and help the fight against the dreaded disease. Joining Darragh on the night will be Paul O’Connor who has featured in shows in the Everyman, Molly Lynch and Keri Reilly Murphy. Also on the billing as support are Ms Hayleigh McCarthy (daughter of 96FM Newsreader Pearse McCarthy) and Allan Meek.
Tickets for the concert are just €10 and are available from The Commodore Hotel on 021-4811277 or from The Cathedral Bookshop and Harbour Books and Music Store.
