It’s one o’clock on the 1st April 2012 in Cahir Co Tipp, all the preparation and dedication of both girls and parents pays off as two Cobh girls don Cork jerseys’. Megan Foley and Aoife Sheehan lined out for Cork in their first outing of 2012. In a convincing win both girls played thier part in the backline keeping Dublin scoreless. Well done girls great achievement
Our club hosted an U12 Go Games blitz on Sat in the main pitch. Three pitches laid host to teams from St Catherines, Castlelyons and Sars. Great camogie was witnessed by all who supported our two teams
Our U16’s showed great determination to turn a half time deficit of 6 pts around to lead by 2pts in the dying minutes only to be denied by a last gasp goal by their mallow hosts.
The U14 league gets underway on Weds 4th April with Bride Rovres visiting the top pitch with a 7.30 throw in all support welcome
