Cobh Summer Swing Events in the Promenade

Bank Holiday Monday, 4th August, with be the first of two events of the month in the Cobh Summer Swing series. This coincides with the arrival of the cruise liner, Voyager. Entertainment on the day for the kids will consist of a Carousel, Face painters and the ‘Fun Bus’ will also be in sttendence. On the musical entertainment side there will be performances from Cezar Oz during the morning and Franklin, with local man Brian O’ Grady {ex member of the very successful ‘Big Band’ in the afternoon.
On Sunday 10th August the liner Vision of the Sea carrying over 4000 people will berth in Cobh and this will kick-start the second August Summer Swing event. There willl be Traditional Music from talented local musicians Laura Hackett and Mairead during the morning and Voice of Ireland Finalist Jamie Stanton in the afternoon.
As part of the Cobh people’s Regatta there will be market stalls on the 16th & 17th August with the cruise liner Ruby Princess arriving early on the morning of 17th. There will also be the Vintage Car display, Children’s Crab Fishing and a ‘Live Fire Act’, all taking place in the Promenade just before the Fire Works display. Both the Children’s Crab Fishing and Fire Act have kindly been sponsored by Cobh Summer Swing.
