The Cobh Triathlon Club would like to make you aware of the annual Cobh Jailbreak Triathlon, which will be hosted in Cobh on Saturday 6th September.
This is the third consecutive year that the Cobh Jailbreak Triathlon will be held, and we hope to make it as memorable and enjoyable as the previous events.
We are conscious of the amount of activity on the roads during the race period and have endeavoured to organise the route to create as little disruption as possible.
Please be aware from 2pm to 6pm on the afternoon of the Cobh Jailbreak Triathlon, which falls on Saturday the 6th of September, there will be traffic delays and if at all possible avoid movement along the main road R624 (waterside) from Belvelly Bridge to Westbourne on the day. Gardai will be diverting Cobh bound traffic from Belvelly Bridge left past Belvelly Castle.
Thank you for your assistance and we look forward to another great day for participants, onlookers and the general public during this event.
Please check out this Internet link to see Run, Cycle and swim routes, or visit www.cobhtriclub.com.
