U15 Division 1
Riverstown 1 – Springfield Ramblers 2
This was a great win for the lads who all played a blinder today. Two brilliant goals the first one scored by the head of Luke Quinn looping the ball over the keepers head into the roof of the net and the second a cheeky chip over the on rushing keeper by Luqman Abu. Hopefully this is the turning point in our season.

Buttevant FC 2-1 Springfield Ramblers
Two soft goals that we gave away in the first half was enough for the home side to take all 3 points. We played some nice football at times and Tom Noonan scored a great goal as we won the second half 1-0. Man of the Match Tom Noonan who gets a ten out of ten rating for his performance today. Thanks to all supporters for travelling, roll on our next game.

Tramore 4 Springfield Ramblers 6.
A cracking game that secured Cobh a well-deserved win that never saw them behind in the match. A flying start saw Cobh take a three nil lead in the first thirty minutes. A stunned Tramore grabbed a goal back near half time that gave them a lift that saw them grab an early goal in the second half. Cobh’s counter attacking brought them to 4-2 then the teams to 5-4 exchanging goal for goal. Cobh were of better quality and killed the game off at 6-4 with five minutes left.
Two Goals each by Anthony Otokiti, Luqman Abubakar & Luke Quinn
Best performances: all 16
Next match 6-Dec Greenwood (a)

St Mary’s 1 v Springfield Ramblers 0
This was always going to be a tough battle between the two premiership sides. For most of the match it was even stevens with both sides relatively equal in all areas of the pitch. Both sides had chances to score and goals but it reminded nil all at full time. Extra time beckoned and Springfield were the livelier for the first half and going into full time it looked for a while that penalties were beckoning. Unfortunately a ball headed end away from a Mary’s corner found the boot of a Mary’s player at the edge of the box and the looping shot swept over the Springers keeper. Despite ramblers giving their all for the last 5 mins Mary’s won the massive battle. Ramblers were unlucky and were a credit to the club and fought to the end. MOTM George Kelly, but it could be given to most members of the team for their effort.
Under 14 National Cup
Springfield 2 Mayfield 0
A great result for the lads against a very big and determined Mayfield side. A superb finish by Evan o Leary in the first half and a clinical finish from the penalty spot by Mike Foley were enough to see Springfield qualify for the last 32. Best on day were Nathan O Connell Cian O Rourke and Eoin Kelly.
