Cobh S.A.C will host it’s 52nd International Deep Sea Angling Festival which will take place from Sept 3rd – 7th 2018. Competitors from England, Wales, Holland, Poland and Ireland, will compete, and not without the usual pressure to win the €1,000 prize for the overall winner of the Competition. There are also an array of other prizes up for grabs during the week long event.
The Boats will depart each Morning at 10am and return at 6pm each day with the exception of Friday when they will depart Cobh at 9am. After each day’s fishing, the anglers will meet at the pub who has sponsored that particular day and listed as follows: Monday, Trade Winds. Tuesday, Ryans Bar. Wednesday, Commodore Hotel and Thusday it’s Kellys Bar, so if you’re out an about why not stop by and welcome them to Cobh.
