One month in to what is officially the busiest time for Travel Agents and we are seeing a huge increase in Cruise bookings already! It seems that so many of you want to try out a Cruise whether it’s a short Mini-Cruise or something more special to celebrate that big event like a Birthday, Anniversary etc.
Figures have just recently been released by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) , showing that more Irish holiday-makers than ever before are choosing to cruise with an 11.8% increase in 2018 compared to 2017. Although the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and Caribbean are still the hot favourites, I am seeing a big increase in bookings to Alaska, Asia and even Australia/New Zealand Cruises. It is also great to see people booking Cruises with your friendly Travel Agent rather than booking online and supporting large US or UK online sites that will never give the personal service that we can offer. And of course you are keeping Irish jobs in Irish companies which is something I am always so grateful for to all my customers so a big Thank You for the business so far in this crazy, competitive world of Travel!
Don’t forget if you are interested in the Cruises direct from Cobh and Dublin pop along to my Cruise event in the Commodore Hotel on Sunday 03rd February – Looking forward to seeing you there
