Please note that with effect from Monday 13th June 2022 the enforcement of Pay Parking will resume in the town of Cobh. From that date, the first hour, or part thereof, of parking per day will be free of charge with no requirement to display a pay parking ticket. A charge of €1 per hour will apply for the second and subsequent hours. The existing time limits in most streets will remain.
In addition, a number of 30 minute parking zones are being introduced from Monday 13th June. The zones are being introduced to facilitate a high turnover of parking spaces in areas of high demand. These zones, which will be clearly signposted, will be at the following locations:
- West Beach (5 spaces) – directly in front of 1-4 West Beach;
- Lynch’s Quay (2 spaces) – adjacent to the entrance of the former Town Hall building;
- East Beach (4 spaces) – directly in front of 11-13 East Beach;
- Midleton Street (2 spaces) – directly in front of 17, 18 Midleton Street.
No pay parking ticket will be required for the 30 minutes permitted in these spaces.
There is no change to the charges which apply to the camper van parking area in the Five Foot Way.
