Breaking The Silence Receives Donation from Irish Naval Service Golf Society
On Friday 16th December 2011 the Irish Naval Service Golf Society presented a donation of €896 to Breaking The Silence. This money was raised through a series of society events throughout the year and members generously decided to make this donation to Breaking The Silence, who are very grateful for such a kind donation. This money will be used to sponsor an ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) course in January 2012 in Cobh. Breaking The Silence would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the members of the Irish Naval Service Golf Society for their generosity.
Breaking The Silence is a local voluntary group that work to help create a Suicide Safer Community by connecting people at risk of Suicide with life preserving resources.
