Breaking The Silence would like to take this opportunity to wish every member of the Community a peaceful Christmas and a positive New Year in 2012. Christmas, while is it as a traditionally joyful occasion can also be very difficult for some people and please don’t forget to check in on family and friends who may be alone this Christmas, a friendly visit or phone call could really make a difference to their day. As we put down yet another tough year in Ireland we are reminded that we are a very strong Community, we are survivors and the future is bright.
The Economy will bounce back at some stage but most importantly the recession has given us all an opportunity to re-connect with what is important in life, your health and your happiness. Breaking The Silence looks very much forward to continuing to provide free training in Suicide Intervention and Prevention in the New Year and to drive Suicide awareness at every possible opportunity. We are all in this together! Thank you for all of your support and looking forward to seeing you all in 2012!
