Breaking The Silence are honoured to organise the Cobh Event for World Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September. Tickets for this event will be made available in the coming weeks and this event will be FREE. We will be inviting people to come along to the beautiful Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh to release Chinese Lanterns into the sky in memory of their loved ones. Guest speaker is Minister Kathleen Lynch and we will have other Speakers on the night along with music from local musicians.
We will also have our annual Flag Day on this date and we are actively seeking volunteers to help us raise money on this day. If you have time to spare on this date and would like to get involved please email fundraisingbts@gmail.com or contact Kelly Mellerick on 087 9810667.
Breaking The Silence is a Cobh based voluntary Group that helps to create a Suicide Safer Community by connecting the person at risk of Suicide with life preserving resources. The Group will run their next free SAFE TALK in Cobh on 25th August and for details please email breakingthesilencecobh@gmail.com.
