If classical music strikes a chord with you then Cork is the place to be this May with a special treat not to be missed! Taking place on Friday 28th May, the stunning Fota Island Resort will play host to an exclusive concert which will see performances from renowned soprano and Cork native Mary Hegarty and baritone Nyle Wolfe who will also be accompanied by Eleanor Malone.
With their enchanting presence and haunting sound, both Mary Hegarty and Nyle Wolfe continue to capture and wow their audiences wherever they go. Previously crowned Golden Voice of Ireland, Mary Hegarty is a passionate soprano with a melodic sound. Since she burst onto the scene with her debut in Wagner’s Parsifal at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Mary has been a regular fixture on the national and international classical music arena particularly throughout Europe.
This golden voice coupled with the engaging repertoire of baritone Nyle Wolfe promises a magical evening of operatic delights. Nyle, with his sensitive musical understanding and flair of comedy sang his first concert at the tender age of six and never looked back. After thousands of performances in distinguished venues throughout Europe and the Americas he has honed a reputation as one of Ireland’s most talented performers.
As both performers come together for a night of unrivalled entertainment, guests can expect a varied repertoire from opera to light opera and performances from their shows and musicals. Enjoy this unique performance in the idyllic surroundings of Fota Island Resort for just €60 per person which includes a delicious three course evening meal at the infamous Fota Island Restaurant. Starting at 6.30pm on Friday 28th May, this unmissable performance is set to be the experience of a lifetime so make sure you get your tickets!
