Its that time of year again folks, all of our teams are back on the pitch at this stage. Although our own teams are just starting back a lot of girls have been very busy training with Imokilly and attending Cork trials and training. Well done to Erica Field, Ellen Spriggs, Katie Sheehan, Lauren Farrell & Lauren Van Wijnen, Nicole Sawani & Kate Ronan who have been toiling away on the minor team whilst the U16’s consists of the same number of Cobh girls, Niamh Meaney, Aoife Sheehan, Megan Foley, Katelynn Quinlan, Sorcha McKeown, Naomi Cashman & Shauna McCrossan Donnachie. Keep the Cobh flag flying high girls your club is very proud of all of you.
Four of our U14 girls are in training with the Imokilly panel Jennifer McCarthy, Emma Moran, Aoife O Connor & Danielle Hayes. Fabulous to see all of the new faces at our new training time on Sunday mornings for U8’s to U12’s. Our U14’s had a fantastic training and skills session with Mick Daly two weekends aga followed by a strong performance against Sars, well done girls and thanks very much Mick.
We will take part in the St Patrick’s day Parade in Cobh next Sunday. All girls and parents are asked to attend, girls please wear your club skort and socks and meet up at the train station at 3pm….this years theme is green so our club colours fit in lovely.
