Bible Garden –  St. Benedict’s Priory, The Mount, Cobh open every day free to walk around or sit in beautiful surroundings. Tea rooms open Mon-Fri 10am – 4.30pm, home made scones, cakes, jams made from our own fruit and marmalade.

Spike Island Tours
Michael Martin’s hugely successful ‘Original’ guided walking tours of Spike Island will operate on a daily basis from Monday, 27th June, departing at 2 p.m. from Kennedy Pier. This is a new arrangement in addition to the current weekend tours on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. Cobh.Contact 021 4815211

COBH CARILLON RECITALS – SEPTEMBER
The remainder of the September recitals will be given by the Cathedral Carillonneur, Adrian Gebruers.   The Season concludes with the recital of 25 September.   The public can view the Carillon being played on the new flat-screen monitor, turn right on entering the Cathedral.

Guided tours of the Cathedral take place every Sunday afternoon during September, meeting at the main door at 3.30PM. Those wishing to book tours at other times for groups of 15 or more should contact the Parish Office (tel. 4813222) for details, giving as much notice as possible.

Bible Study Course
All are welcome to a free-of-charge short Bible Study course taking place at St Colman’s Parish Centre, Cobh. Fridays at 8.00 pm. The focus is on the Old Testament Historical Books Joshua and Judges and is a short course with Fr John McCarthy. There are 6 one-hour sessions. Bring your Bible. Monday 5th SeptemberCobh International Deep Sea Angling Festival
The 45th International Deep Sea Angling Festival will be held in Cobh, Co. Cork this September. The annual festival is celebrating its 45th year and as the remaining weeks to the festival count down, excitement and anticipation are definitely building and further entries from serious and hobby anglers are expected and still welcome. The Festival will take place from Monday 5th of September to Friday 9th of September and will see over 50 anglers (from over 6 nations) competing across a multitude of categories.
