Cobh Library is delighted to announce the finalists in our recent Titanic100 design a library card competition. We had an overwhelming response from the people of Cobh with more than 200 entries from all age groups. Six overall finalists were selected by an independent judging panel, and the top 2 entries in each category will be made into our limited edition Titanic cards – one for children and one for adults.
In no particular order the finalists in the ‘Adult’ category are:
Malwina Kupidura, Tarek Sallabi, & Daniel Keaney.
The finalists in the ‘Junior’ category are:
Cormac O’Mahony, Sarah Butler & Zita O’Dwyer.
Our six finalists have been notified but we are keeping the order of the prizes under wraps until the official prize-giving ceremony to be presided over by Mayor of Cobh, Jim Quinlan, on Saturday 14th April at 3:00pm. The special edition library cards will be available from the library after this date.
