It is hard to believe that planning has begun for the 10th edition of the hugely popular Cobh Tidy Towns Calendar! Cobh Tidy Towns is seeking photographs for consideration for inclusion in the “2020 Discovering Cobh Great Island Calendar.”
This Calendar is the most important fundraiser for us to generate funds enabling our volunteers to carry out enhancing projects around Cobh all year around. Even more importantly it is sent around the world to family and friends, engendering a sense of pride in Cobh and showing our beautiful town as a must see destination for anyone considering visiting Ireland. To date over 1 million images of our town have been shared through our annual calendar! The calendar is a much sought after gift for those living at home and away.
Photos should be in landscape format and be over 1 Mb and can be taken anywhere on the Great Island, looking out from it or looking onto it throughout the four seasons. This year we will again consider photographs of Cobh people going about their everyday lives, provided that they will give permission for the photograph to be published. Please email your photo saying where and approximately when they were taken before the closing date of 16th August to cobhtidytowns@gmail.com
