Notice Of Preparation Of Town Draft Development Plan

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 12 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000 that Cobh Town Council has prepared a Draft Development Plan for its administrative area of Cobh Town.

The Draft Plan is accompanied by an Environmental Report setting out the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the Plan.

A copy of the Draft Development Plan, and the accompanying Environmental Report, may be inspected at the offices of Cobh Town Council, Carrig House, Cobh, each working day exclusive of Public Holidays from 9.30am to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00pm during the period commencing on 30 March, 2012 and ending on the 8th June, 2012. A copy of the proposed addition may also be inspected during the said period at Cobh Library.

Printed copies of the Draft Plan and relevant Environmental Report will be available for purchase from the Town Council offices at a cost of ?25. The Draft Plan and Environmental Report will also be available for purchase on CD at a cost of ?5

Submissions or observations in relation to the Draft Plan and Environmental Report are hereby invited from members of the public, children or groups or associations representing the interests of children and interested parties.

Written submissions or observations with respect to the Draft Development Plan may be made to Cobh Town Council, Carrig House, Cobh, Co. Cork and will be taken into consideration before the making of the Development Plan. Such submissions must be received in the Town Hall no later than 4.00 p.m. on Friday 8th June, 2012 clearly marked ?submissions or observations with respect to the Cobh Draft Development Plan? and should be addressed to the Town Clerk, Cobh Town Council, Town Hall, Cobh, Co. Cork.
