With the Triathlon season about to kick off Cobh Triathlon Club organised a Try-a-Try on Sunday last. Club members took to the waters in Cuskinny for a 750 metre swim, followed by a 20km cycle to Bramley Lodge and back and finally a 5km run along the Tay Road. Over 15 club members took part and used the event as a test of the progress check of winter training. Quick times were attained by all who were rewarded by some home baking from other enterprising club members.
The official Triathlon season kicks off at the end of May with an event in Lough Cutra followed by the Fastnet Triathlon in Schull in early June.
