Cork Autism Parent2Parent Group held a fundraising pub quiz on Friday evening in the Ballynoe Inn. The evening was organised successfully by Brenda Murphy and Jane Cronin with over 38 tables taking part. There was finger food supplied by the Ballynoe Inn at half time and music by Ben Hurley who played long into the night. Quiz master for the evening was Peter Ahern who handled the microphone with humour and professionalism.
The business’s of Cobh were so generous with their prizes for the rafles donating many wonderful prizes including a Lily O’Brien Easter Egg hamper, a novelty cake by Maureen Cronin, vouchers from Supermacs, Newtown and Ticknock Pharmacy and a Gift Hamper from Keating’s Londis Plus. The top prize of an Ipod Touch was won by Nickie Lawrence. The grand total raised on the night was €2,365.
